Protector

The beloved leather boots, the good leather jacket or the fine nubuck-handbag - especially your favorite things have to perform at their best every day and suffer from dust, dirt and rain. Protect them by waterproofing thoroughly! With pedag's all-round protector, moisture, dirt and stains don't have a chance. Like an invisible grid, a dust- and water-repellent structure protects the fibres of leather and other materials. Water rolls off the surface. At the same time, the material remains supple and can continue to breathe.

It is important to waterproof shoes, bags and jackets three times before wearing them for the first time. Note: For all-round protection, you should also treat the leather soles under the shoe and regularly refresh the waterproofing protection.

The waterproofing spray is suitable for:

• Smooth and suede leather
• oil nubuck
• Textiles
• Synthetic
• Stretch material
• Corresponding materials with TEX climate membranes.

Application:
After completing care steps 1 clean and 2 care, the surfaces of the shoe or bag are ready for step 3 protect. Shake the can well and spray the waterproofer evenly onto the surface from a distance of approx. 25 cm. Turn the shoe or bag in the spray cloud so that the ingredients can settle and penetrate almost 'dry' on the surface. No wet drops or puddles should form on the material.
For especially good results, repeat the application two to three times. Then let dry for 15 minutes at room temperature and then polish smooth leather and brush up suede fibers.
Ideal for smooth leather are the polishing glove pedag Brillant or horsehair brushes. With their soft natural fibres, the active ingredient can be worked deeply and comfortably into the material.
For suede, pedag suede brushes are suitable to loosen the fibres for a velvety soft feel and look.

Tip on the color fastness of the material:
Test the color fastness in a hidden place. If the face fabric is already staining when rubbed with a dry cloth or water-soaked rag, it is especially important to only spray 'dry' (see above for application) and carefully buff or brush.
